This milestone marks the expansion of the program’s success, with the first batch already underway at NASTP Rawalpindi. Now, through the new launch at Kharian, aspiring aviation professionals will have greater access to world-class training aligned with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-147 standards — right here in Pakistan.

FlyOn Visit to Pakistan for Audit of Training Facilities

The NASTP Training Division is advancing its pursuit of EASA certification for its aviation vocational training programs with the establishment of the NASTP Institute of Vocational Training (NIVT). From October 31 to November 2, 2023, a three-member team from FlyOn Aero (Italy), along with ENAC’s Inspector, visited Pakistan to audit NASTP's training facilities. This visit aimed to assess theoretical and practical compliance with EASA standards. The comprehensive audit included detailed inspections of training classrooms, practical training sessions at Nur Khan Base, and meetings with key NASTP officials. The FlyOn Aero team also conducted briefings and engaged with students from local institutions. This significant step underscores NASTP’s commitment to enhancing aviation training standards in Pakistan through international collaboration and certification.

On March 7, 2024, NASTP Training Division hosted an Open House event to highlight its extensive aviation and IT training programs. The event featured interactive presentations, demonstrations, and discussions aimed at providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of NASTP’s offerings. A key highlight was the award ceremony for the EASA Part-147 certificate, recognizing NASTP as an accredited site of the Italian Institute FlyOn Aero. This significant achievement underscores NASTP's commitment to maintaining high standards in aviation training. Additionally, the event included the signing of a Joint Operations Agreement between NASTP and FlyOn Aero. Distinguished guests, including Her Excellency Ms. Marilina Armellin, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, attended, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration.
